I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Stockholm University. I hold the title of Docent in Sociology at Uppsala University and in Education at Stockholm University. 

My research investigates how careers, valuation, and education interact across various societal domains, with a focus on the arts, sports, and politics.

In my project, "The Making of a Literary Career after the Debut," I developed and utilized career databases and longitudinal interviews to investigate patterns within creative careers. Specifically, I explore why only a minority of artists continue their careers after their debut (e.g., after a first book, album, or directorial debut).
